With the 100th anniversary of the NFL, the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee is proud to host the record-breaking 11th Super Bowl LIV. In 2020, our city will be showcased on a global stage and we intend to highlight its rich, diverse culture and beautiful landscapes. We will show the world just how incredible it is to live, work, and of course, play here! There are a number of ways to take part and support Miami’s big game but one of the most rewarding ways to feel the excitement of Super Bowl LIV is to volunteer.
We will be recruiting up to 10,000 volunteers to be a central part of our team. Volunteers will be the face of Miami as we host thousands of visitors to town. The Host Committee is looking for a group of high energy, enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about football, the South Florida region, and can commit to three or more shifts during Super Bowl week.

All volunteers will act as a Miami Super Bowl ambassador. We will have a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the South Florida region, including Downtown Miami, Miami Beach Convention Center, South Florida airports, various hotels, transportation hubs, fan events, and more!

During the 7-days leading up to Super Bowl LIV, we will welcome thousands of guests to South Florida. Some of our guests will be visiting Miami for the first time and we want to make sure it is not their last. Our Volunteer team will often be the first point of contact for visitors and their friendly source of information.
What is the role of a volunteer?
All volunteers will act as a Miami Super Bowl ambassador. What are the benefits of volunteering for the Super Bowl?
In February 2020, Miami will welcome thousands of football fans to our region. As a volunteer, you have an opportunity to represent South Florida during this historic event. The Super Bowl is the largest stage in American sports with a world-wide viewing audience and hosting this event is a rare opportunity. In addition to being a part of history, each volunteer will receive a custom-designed uniform!
What is the minimum age for volunteers?
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age to complete the application. Application deadline is August 1st, 2019.
Can I volunteer for the same role with my friend/family?
Due to the scale of the program, we cannot guarantee that you will be in the same role as your friend/family. We will ask all applicants to specify their preferences as to where they would like to volunteer. While we will take this information into consideration when assigning roles, we cannot make any guarantees.
What criteria will you use to select volunteers?
After the completion of the online application, every applicant must complete an in-person interview. Volunteers will be selected based on enthusiasm, volunteer experience and dedication to service. Once selected, volunteers must pass a criminal background check in order to participate.
Why do I have to complete a background check?
The Miami Super Bowl Host Committee requires a background check to ensure the safety and security of all volunteers and guests.
Are there volunteer opportunities inside Hard Rock Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday?
We will not have any volunteer opportunities inside Hard Rock Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday.
How long is the time commitment for volunteers?
Every volunteer will be required to complete a minimum of three shifts during January 25th – February 2nd, 2020. The shifts range between 4-6 hours in length.

Can I still volunteer if I don’t live in Florida or if I am not a U.S. citizen?
We welcome everyone to apply and have no restrictions where you live. To apply, you will need to provide either your social security number, non-US passport number, or applicable Visa number.
If you do travel to volunteer, you will be responsible for your own accommodations and travel expenses. Please note, there are a number of events you must attend, in order to volunteer, including your in-person interview and applicable training sessions.
